Repped!
I am delighted to announce that I am now represented by the amazing, insightful, and energetic Carrie Pestritto of Prospect Agency!
I’m super excited to have an agent, as you can imagine, but even more so to work with Carrie. We had a short discussion on the phone about revisions, and I could immediately see that she had identified an area where the story could be made so much better. That was enough to get me excited about the story all over again. Fortunately I was able to get the revisions started to her satisfaction, and she officially offered. I signed the agreement today.
This feels rather unreal, and I’m still gripped by imposter syndrome (doubly so, since I’ve been doing job interviews these last couple weeks, in the midst of talking to agents and trying to implement as many of Carrie’s excellent revisions notes as possible), but the evidence suggests that the above announcement is true, so . . . there you have it!
